Thermoplastic Pipe Systems

Plastichem supplies, fabricates and installs a full range of industrial plastic pressure pipe materials including Polypropylene, Polyethylene and PVDF.

These systems are fabricated using socket fusion, conventional butt fusion and infra red but fusion jointing methods depending on the application.

Polypropylene
Generally exhibits a good resistance to a variety of chemicals such as salts, acids, alkalis and many solvents. Maximum continuous operating temperature 100 Degrees Centigrade.

Polyethylene
Good resistance to a variety of chemicals and solvents with a maximum operating temperature of 60 Degrees Centigrade.

PVDF
PVDF is a fluoropolymer and has the best chemical resitance in this range of materials. It is suitable for operating at 120 Degrees Centigrade and is also ideally suited to high purity applications.
